Anne Frank Trust

The Pears Foundation supports the core costs of the Anne Frank Trust, helping to ensure that its work challenging prejudice and discrimination is placed on a sustainable footing.

The Trust uses the life and diary of Anne Frank as its inspiration to promote positive attitudes, responsibility and respect for others, especially among young people. The flagship programme is Anne Frank + You, a major multi-media touring exhibition that relates the story of Anne Frank to contemporary issues of violence and racism in Britain and across the world.

The Trust provides educational materials, workshops and programmes for schools, colleges and youth clubs and is currently piloting programmes which aim to tackle racism in areas where community tension is high by bringing together individuals from different backgrounds and religions.

The Foundation also supports The Anne Frank Awards, which recognise young people and educators who have shown great personal strength, courage and determination.
