Eastside Young Leaders Academy

The Pears Foundation gives core support to the Eastside Young Leaders Academy, a leadership organisation for African Caribbean boys in East London.

The Academy was established to address problems of underachievement and high rates of expulsion from school.

The Academy works in partnership with local schools and parents to provide positive role models, encourage volunteering and the development of personal responsibility.
