Pears Foundation takes a strategic approach to our work, as shown in our process diagram below.

Some of the principles that guide us are transparency, collaboration, and a willingness to learn from mistakes.

Partnership

We view the organisations we work with as our partners. We work closely with them to achieve our common aims and both sides of the partnership bring knowledge and expertise.

The Foundation seeks to provide added value which may take the form of:

• Advice and support with strategic planning and general organisational development
• Using our networks and contacts to facilitate collaborations
• Convening events, conferences and seminars

We also take initiatives ourselves where new thinking is required or where there are important unexplored opportunities.
