27th January is Holocaust Memorial Day and this year our Holocaust education partners marked it in a number of moving ceremonies.
The UCL Centre for Holocaust Education was honoured to welcome survivors Ben Helfgott and Mala Tribich and to take the opportunity to thank survivors for the power of their words in sharing their testimonies with schools and the world. They were joined by NUS President Shakira Martin and other guests and the event included a screening of a film by Joshua Rocker about the life and legacy of Leon Greenman. This year’s theme was The Power of Words and we are proud of all our partners who work so hard to create a shared language of engagement, understanding and wellbeing.
